  1. After I get to the CWM recovery screen and select the wipe data/factory reset option and confirm it, there is no option to “scroll down to Install zip from SDcard”… there is an option to “apply update from external storage”, which if I select it asks me to choose a package to install “/sdcard”, but there are no options there to select (even though I saved the zip files to my root folder and verified their presence before starting). Any advice??

  2. Perfect, thanks…on Galaxy tab 10.1 P7510 works fine

  3. Or rather select volume down and then volume up instead of power

  4. With tablet off, press and hold power and volume down together. You will boot to the boot mode. Select power down and then power up and you should be to the boot screen. I have twrp though and another boot shell may be different.

  6. If you are running windows xp then you have to install windows xp supported USB driver in order to connect the Galaxy Gt-P7510 with the computer. There is no need of Samsung KIES during the firmware update process.
    Step 2
Plug the USB cable to Galaxy GT-P7510 tablet and the computer. Explore the USB mass storage of tablet on the computer screen. Move the both zip files (AOKP ROM and Google Apps) files on your device’s internal SD card’s root folders.
Then you can unplug the USB cable from the computer and tablet after moving both zip files.

I installed and reinstalled all new drivers and Kies to no avail. Its a nightmare. And without that I cannot root my tab neither install su nor CWM. It used to work in 3.2. I installed 4.0.4 from samsung and after that “nada”.
    Good day and thanks
