Download Odin 3.07

Step 2

Now extract Odin zip file that appears as Odin3 v3.07.exe

Step 3

Then Switch Galaxy S2 device off. It takes usually 5 to 6 seconds to switch off.

Step 4

Run Galaxy S2 device into download mode. In turning device on, you need to press and hold Volume Down and Home button. When you get warning message press Volume Up buttons to enter Download Mode.

Now run extracted Odin3 v3.07.exe with administrative power then connect Galaxy S2 with PC. You may make a connection through USB cable. When connection between both devices is made, you get ‘Added’ message at bottom part of Odin box. You also get COM port with a related number.

Now select file containing .tar extension as shown below from odin zip. For this, click on PDA button then after choose it:

Step 7

In existing Odin window, you need to check against ‘Auto Reboot’ and ‘F.Reset Time’ box.

Step 8

After applying check against both options click Start button. After clicking, this process of flashing begins.

Step 9

When Rooting process gets completed then your device automatically restarts. In fraction you see ‘Pass’ message in extremely top left side of Odin window. After seeing ‘Pass’ message that appears in green background, you have to disconnect PC and Galaxy S2 devices by removing USB cable.
