Users running Firefox 115 ESR or higher or Firefox 125 can have issues with ReCaptcha. Confirmation from Mozilla has acknowledged that this is because of a serious bug in the browser versions due to Google. You cannot solve the ReCaptcha on any website in Firefox and only an animation appears. Here is a trick to fix ReCaptcha not working in Firefox.
When the issue occurs Recapchas never ends despite trying hard and several times. Mozilla blames Google for this Recapcha not working problem. Although, there is a workaround to fix this bug.
Firefox ReCaptcha not working
Until the bug is officially fixed making a change in a preference can help fix to work Recapcha normally. This will present Linux version of Web browser on Windows and solve the issue temporarily:
- Launch the browser and enter about:config in the address bar.
- Click Accept the Risk and Continue.
- Type useragent.override into the search.
- As the result shows, click on String in the display.
- Then, click on Plus sign
- Copy Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:125.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/125.0, paste it into the given space and click on Checkmark.
- Close the browser and reopen it.
This change will bring Linux version on the web, under which the ReCaptchas will work again. Remember to delete this string after updating the browser to a new version.

Lately, an extension is also developed to deal with the Recaptcha problem in Firefox. This app switches the user agent and Spoof websites trying to gather information about your web navigation
