Microsoft has rolled out KB4512937 Servicing Stack Update for Windows 10 version 1809 today on 22 July 2019. This SSU refers to improve Windows update experience. In the patch, they address the updates that fail to install with certain other updates and upon startup. This requires second scan of Windows Update and moreover second restart to perform the installation.
You are firmly suggested you install the latest “SSU” before receiving a cumulative update. SSU strengthen servicing stack in order to receive and install Microsoft security fixes.
How to get KB4512937 for Windows 10 1809
Normally, you will receive the Servicing Stack Update automatically, but if you haven’t, then navigate to Settings => Update & Security => Windows update and click on Check for updates.
