Known issues

Symptom Workaround
IME users for Chinese and Japanese languages might encounter issues when trying different tasks. Furthermore, you might have problems with input, get unexpected results, or might not be able to enter text. For detail, workaround steps, and the current fixed issues, kindly visit KB4564002
User and System and certificates might be missing when updating a device from Windows 10 1809, or greater to a greater version of Windows 10. The problem will impact only the Devices that have already installed any LCU released on 16 Sept 2020, or later. Additionally, they proceed to update to a greater version of Windows 10 using media or an installation source that does not have an LCU released October 13, 2020, or later integrated. This first and foremost happens when managed devices are updated via outdated bundles or media through an update management tool, for example, Windows WSUS or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager. Moreover, this might occur when using old ISO images or physical media that don’t have the most recent updates integrated.

Remark – Devices that connect straight to “Windows Update” or use Windows Update for Business are not impacted. Any device connecting to Windows Update should always get the latest feature update, including the latest cumulative update, without any additional steps.

If you have already experienced, mitigate it within the uninstall window by returning to the previous Windows version using the guidelines in this section. The uninstall windows might be 30 or 10 days based on the setting of the environment and the version you are updating to. You will then need to update to the greater Windows 10 version after the problem is fixed in your environment.

Remark – From the uninstall window, you can change the number of days you have to return back to your previous Windows 10 version using the DISM command /Set-OSUninstallWindow. You must change this before the default uninstall windows has expired. For more details, see DISM operating system uninstall command-line options.

They are working on a fix and will push refreshed media and  updated bundles in the forthcoming weeks.
