What to take care before installing Avatar CM10.1 ROM to Samsung Galaxy S II I777 model?
- At first, take complete backup of your Galaxy S II I777 device data (apps, settings, photos, contacts and others) should be done to memory card or computer using Samsung KIES app.
- Switch on USB debugging on your Galaxy S II I777 device.

Steps to Install CM10.1 Avatar ROM on Galaxy S II I777 device
Step 1
Download both required zip file to your computer and don’t extract it.

Connect your Galaxy S II I777 device to your computer through USB cable.
Step 3
Now copy the both earlier downloaded zip files (find it in step 1) and paste it to root a folder of your Galaxy S II I777 device’s memory card.
Step 4
Download ROM Manager App from Google Play Store. This app is used to boot into recovery mode openly.
Step 5
Now Launch ROM Manager App to your I777 device and tap on Reboot into Recovery option to start in recovery mode.
Step 6
In ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery mode, at first, you have to perform data wipe. Keep in mind it will delete all data. Then scroll down to “Flash zip from SDcard” menu and press the power button to select it. Press the Power button another time and select “choose zip from sd card” menu.
Step 7
Now find the Avatar ROM zip file from memory card’ root folder by using volume up and down buttons. Then select it with the Power button. A next screen asks you to verify the installation process to begin. After doing every step effectively, installation of Avatar ROM will start. Keep your patience because it will finish around 30 minutes.
Remark
Repeat the above given all steps for selecting the Google Apps zip files in memory card’ root folder.
Step 8
As soon as the installation of Avatar ROM completed, go to “+++++Go Back” menu and reboot the I777 device by selecting “reboot system now” menu from the recovery mode screen. Now your I777 device will restart and it will take about 5 minutes to load home screen first time. So, keep patience.
If all above steps is done successfully then CM10.1 Avatar ROM will be installed on Galaxy S II I777 device. To check just installed version, go to Settings and tap on About phone.
