General changes, improvements, and fixes for PC

  • You will not confront with lag when using the previous flight.
  • While launching a File Explorer in a OneDrive folder, the explorer.exe will no longer crash.
  • Windows Insider team solved the Windows update settings page issue. When you searched for “Advanced options” in Windows Update, the result would launch to the main Windows Update Settings page instead.

c1900101 Update Issue

  1. First of all, create a bootable USB recovery drive.
  2. After that, boot your PC from the USB recovery drive created in Step 1.
  3. Launch Command Prompt.
  4. In Command Prompt, type: bcdedit /enum {default}
  5. Text similar to below will appear:
  6. When the description element states “Windows Rollback” and the device element starts from ramdisk, jump directly to Step 7.
  7. Take a note of the recoverysequence GUID value in the {default} entry.
  8. In cmd, write – bcdedit /default {GUID from Step 7 accurately as it appeared}
  9. Using Command Prompt, restart your PC by typing – wpeutil reboot
  10. Once your PC reboots, you will notice two boot entry choices the first one will be “Windows 10” and the next one “Windows Rollback”. Choose the “Windows 10” option and that will enable to boot you back into the previously installed build. The rollback code will come in and clean up the rollback entry, therefore it won’t be there on subsequent boots.
