As a substitute backup method, you can use Samsung Kies software to move all significant data to the computer.
3. Enable USB Debugging mode

4. Check Battery Percentage

Just follow given following instructions in steps
Step 1
Download both required zip files to your computer from below provided download links and extract it to separate folders. After extracting both zip files, you will see ***.tar.md5 under CWM recovery zip and Odin3 v3.04.exe into Odin3-v3.04.zip.

Step 2
Now, you have to power off your Android device and boot into download mode. To do so, press and hold the Volume Down button, Home button and Power button jointly, until you will get download mode included screen.
Step 3
Make sure that you have already Installed USB driver to computer. Then connect your Android device to your computer with USB cable.
Step 4
Now run Odin tool with administrator privilege using right-click on Odin3 v3.04.exe file and select Run as administrator option from right context panel. At this time, you have to wait for some minutes until arrival of “Added” message prompted at the lower-left message box of Odin window.
Step 5
As soon as Odin window recognizes the connected Android device, follow these actions.
- Click on the PDA button and select the ***.tar.md5 from extracted CWM Recovery folders (see in step 1).
- Ensure the Re-partition option is not checked under Option section but check the Auto Reboot option here.
Step 6
Now click on the Start button to begin the flash process to your connected Android device using the ***.tar.md5 file.
Step 7
While the flashing process is finished, you will see a green color labeled “PASS” message in Odin interface. This message refers about successful flashing process.
Step 8
Here, your Android phone will reboot automatically and remove the USB cable from the computer.
That is it! Your Android device has been successfully updated with the latest official firmware. To check it, press and hold the HOME, VOLUME UP and POWER buttons for hardly 5 seconds. The action leads to enter device in the latest installed CWM recovery mode.
