Rollout of Monthly Security updates for August 2021 has been started for different components. In this series, Windows 10 2004, 20H2, and 21H1 have received KB5005033 with significant improvements. This will change the version number of the respective OS builds to 19041.1165, 19042.1165, and 19043.1165.
You can install the stipulated patch onto your Windows 10 simply by clicking Check for updates. However, full methods are available in the later part of this post.

How to download KB5005033 For Windows 10 21H1 20H2 and 2004 and install
You can download KB5005033 on your Windows 10 21H1, 20H2, and 2004 using the following 2 methods –
Way-1: Via Windows update
- Click on Start and type updates.
- Press Enter to access Settings.
- Click on – Check for updates.
The system will commence scanning for the patch and download itself. The patch will be downloaded in the time period depending on the internet connection speed. Once completed you will come across a notification asking to Restart your computer now. Click – Restart now.
Way-2: Through manually installing
