How to know your forgotten Mobile Number

The number of SIM cards a single person might require or use has no specific limit. In this age of information technology, any one can be in possession of a lot of SIM cards. Be it a new 3G connection that offers fast speeds and data packs at affordable rates or a 2G/CDMA SIM that is bought for the cheap call rates provided by the network.

 

Our requirement of a SIM card may be anything. Things get confusing and problematic when you have a SIM card in your cell phone, but you do not happen to know your mobile number. In this case, there are separate set of numbers for each network operator that helps you know your mobile number ,in case you forget it or simply don’t know it.

Below are listed some set of numbers and the subsequent operations that need to be done, to know your forgotten mobile number. I have tried to include all popular network providers in the list.

1. Idea

Dial *789# or *1# or *100# and your mobile number will be displayed on your screen.

2. Aircel

Dial *888# or *234*4# or *122*131#on your mobile number, it will be displayed current mobile number on your screen.

3. Reliance

Dial *1# and your mobile number will be displayed on your screen.

4. Vodafone

There are two ways to know your mobile number in

(i) Dial *121*0# and your number gets displayed.

(ii) Dial *555*0# and your number gets displayed.

5. Docomo

Dial *580# and your mobile number will be displayed on your screen.

6. Virgin

Dial *1# and your mobile number will be displayed on your screen.

7. Airtel

There are two ways to know your mobile number of Airtel:

(i)*282#

(ii)Dial *121*9# and wait.A flash message gets displayed. Ignore it and hit exit. You will receive another flash message shortly stating, ’YOUR MOBILE NUMBER IS 0000000000’. Here,00…..is your mobile number.

(iii)*400*2*1*1*0#

(iv)*121*11# (for 3G customer)

(V) Send a blank message to the number 59103 (toll free) and wait.You will receive a message stating that ‘SUCCESSFULLY PROCESSED MESSAGE FOR NUMBER
0000000000’ Here 00….is your number.

8. Videocon

Dial *1# and your mobile number will be displayed on your screen.

9. Uninor

Dial *555# or Dial *1#

10. BSNL

Just call at 24365 and ask them.
