To install this build you will need to keep the “Get the latest update as soon as they’re available” under Settings > Windows Update enabled. This build is a part of Moment 5 update.

Windows Ink Improvements

The recently kicked-off Windows Ink feature (part of 22631.2271 Build), which enables users to ink directly onto edit fields, was temporarily deactivated in the Beta Channel to accommodate further bug fixes. Now the team is again enabling this feature with an update that contains a number of fixes. Once more, the experience supports English (U.S.) only and can be handled through “Settings => Bluetooth and devices => Pen & Windows Ink” under Shell Handwriting.

Changes and Improvements that all Beta insiders will receive gradually

Copilot in Windows

  • Taskbar will include a new icon of Copilot.

Fixes for everyone in the Beta Channel

  • Resolved a problem experienced by Insiders in the previous flight where explorer.exe would crash when attempting to open File Explorer by selecting “Open File Location” in an application.
  • This rollout resolves a delay in the sign-in process that occurs when a tablet pen is connected to your device.
  • This update tackles an issue impacting iCloud Calendar and Contacts synchronization. When using the iCloud for Windows app, Outlook may fail to sync them correctly. If you want to resume syncing, move forward with the steps in this Apple Support article.

For Insiders in the RP and Beta Channels using version 22309.xxxx.x or newer of the Microsoft Store, the following enhancement will be gradually deployed:

Redesigned Windows License Pages: We’ve enhanced the appearance and user interface of Windows license pages in the Microsoft Store to align with the aesthetics of Windows 11. These pages now offer clear comparison tables between different Windows editions, simplifying the process of selecting the most suitable license for you.

Before starting installation, make sure that you have turned on “Get the latest update as soon as they’re available” located under Settings > Windows Update.

  1. Now, click on Start and select Settings cog.
  2. Select “Windows Update” from the left side panel.

  4. Then, click on Restart now.
