Microsoft Edge Insider Preview is aired today for you to try and check out features. Microsoft announced in early December that they will adopt Chromium project to develop the built-in browser further. They are focusing on better web compatibility on desktop while using Edge. Chromium is an open source project so Windows users can easily participate in the active development of the browser and submit feedback.
As Redmondians has released the Dev channel for the browser you can easily get Microsoft Edge Insider Preview builds. They are working together with Google team rather than creating a separate project for the development. Additionally, the source code of the Edge dev will be updated on Github.

Here is how to get Microsoft Edge Insider Preview –
Step-1: Navigate to this microsoftedgeinsider to access the dev website of the browser.
Step-2: Click on Download Dev Channel for Windows 10 button. The Setup.exe (2.27MB) file for the browser will be downloaded instantly.
Step-3: Run the installer (double click) and let the installation complete.

As this is an opening edition, some tools like Spellcheck and Media casting are not available at present. Coming features are Dark Mode, Smooth Scrolling, Accessibility Improvements, Reading View, Grammar Tools, and Translation.
This is the first Canary and Developer build of Microsoft Edge. Microsoft will update the canary build daily and developer build weekly. In future Beta build will be rolled out. They have planned to offer the browser’s insider preview version to the all supported version of Windows and Mac.
