With “inspect element”, you can change the look of website temporarily in your device, editing the details. It comes in handy when you want to see a mock-up of a website with different colors and fonts to analyze what makes the design work. In addition, you can also view other details involving the loading time for a given site, the bandwidth it employs to download etc.
Also, you can edit out some of the private details in a link especially when you need to take a screenshot to post it somewhere. All these changes occur only on the given device; not on the website. And when you refresh the device, it will revert the changes and will thus restore the webpage to its original format. People often Access Inspect Element on Android to prank friends.
