On 15/02/2023, a new update arrived at Beta channel of Windows 11 Insider carrying bug fixes for CrashOnAuditFail registry value, stop error RDR_FILE_SYSTEM, 8 Zip archives, etc. This rollout also introduces a feature for opening and editing photos and screenshots taken by Android device using Snipping tool on PC. KB5034855 is the cumulative update that increases the 23H2 version number to Windows 11 Build 22635.3209.

Open mobile device’s photos and screenshot on PC when captured using Snipping tool
The company is rolling out the feature to access and edit the instantly captured photos and screenshots from Android mobile device in Snipping Tool on PC. To make you capable of using this, instant notifications will be sent on PC whenever a new photo or screenshot is captured on the Android device.
To activate this, navigate to Settings => Bluetooth & devices => Mobile devices choose “Manage devices” and allow your PC to access your Android phone.
Keep in mind that the Phone Link settings page is renamed to Mobile devices.
A Cross-Device Experience Host update will be installed through Store which is essential for this feature.
