Users wanting to Activate Mobile Banking in SBI will have to be registered under Mobile Banking Service. The Process to Activate Mobile Banking in SBI could be done in two separate stages. The First stage of registration work to be done through Mobile Handset and the Second stage could be completed at SBI Branch or ATM.
Registration Process to be done over Mobile Handset
- In first and foremost step, users have to get User ID and Default MPIN.
- By sending SMS to 9223440000 / 567676 users will get User ID and Default MPIN through SMS.
- Another SMS to download mobile banking application to be sent at your handset.
- Download mobile banking applications at your handset.
- After application installation please login using provided User ID and password.
- Change old MPIN with your choice of 06 digits
After completion of Stage One of the registration, customers will have to approach nearest SBI ATM or Home Branch of accounts holder. If approaching nearest SBI ATM, just swap your Debit Card and choose Mobile Registration option and then select Mobile Banking sub-option. Here, choose Registration option and enter your mobile Number and press yes. After this act, ATM screen displays ‘Confirm’ information message. Just confirm the whole exercise and collect Transaction slip of Conformation to Activate Mobile Banking in SBI. Later on customers will receive SMS regarding activation of Mobile Banking Service. Customers choosing another way means approaching SBI Branches will have to fill up required form. Such prescribed form will be entered into system and accounts of Mobile Banking will be activated next working day. Now, you have the power of financial transaction freedom. The Amount up to Rs 50000 could be transferable on day to day basis through SBI Mobile Banking. But such transferable amount should not exceed the limit of Rs 2,50000/- lakh in a particular calendar month.
